It is a matter of great pride and privilege for me to serve the Indian Society of Neuroradiology as its General Secretary. Under the able guidance of our President Dr Mathew Cherian. The Bright, Young and Talented members of the executive committee have the mandate of taking ISNR to greater heights in the coming days.
Continuing the vision of previous Executive Committee members and following the mandate given at the last GBM we are committed to take forward the society to newer heights for achieving this there are multiple tasks already taken by different committees.
As a further commitment to continuous education, we are excited to introduce a “Case of the Week” feature on the ISNR website. This will provide a valuable new resource for learning and staying updated with challenging and interesting neuroradiology cases. We encourage all members to regularly check the website for these insightful presentations.
Enhancing Member Communication: To ensure you receive all important updates, we’ve recently created WhatsApp groups for faster dissemination of information. In addition there is a dropdown in the member’s corner on the ISNR website (isnr.in/members-corner/) for members to update their contact information. If you’re not yet part of an ISNR WhatsApp group or haven’t been receiving our emails, please use this feature to update your profile, or contact the ISNR Office. Augmenting Teaching and Training Programs: In light of the overwhelming positive feedback for our online academic series, we are delighted to relaunch these Monthly Webinar programs, scheduled for the first Thursday of each month. These sessions will provide updates on the latest advancements across the spectrum of neuroradiology subspecialties, including Diagnostic, Vascular, Paediatric, Neuro-oncology, and Functional neuroimaging. Information regarding these courses will be available on the website and disseminated via email.
ISNR has also instituted a Travel fellowship for its younger members to attend international conferences conducted by WFNRS (Symposium Neuroradiologicum), ISMRM, ASNR, ESNR and WFITN. The details are available in the member’s corner.
In addition with the continuous efforts of our President ,The ISNR had successfully collaborated with American society of functional neuroradiology ASFNR regarding discounted membership for life members of our society.
With the sense of immense pride this year 2025 onwards we have launched the very enthusiastic and energetic team of young neuroradiologists under the name of Young Neuroradiology Forum (YNRF).
I extend my best wishes to all members and earnestly request your continued guidance and motivation for young and aspiring radiologists, encouraging them to embrace the promising field of Neuroradiology and become active members of the Indian Society of Neuroradiology.
Long Live ISNR
